In the course of yesterday?s celebrations, Kurt Scholl, the Hapimag CEO, presented Christian Sampl, the Resort Manager in Salzburg, with a golden key, and thus officially opened the doors to the newest Hapimag city residence. ?With the new address in Salzburg, we are offering our members an additional top destination in Europe. Salzburg has extremely diverse cultural attractions, both modern and natural, which provide something for all tastes,? said Kurt Scholl. Around 30 guests enjoyed Salzburg delicacies and raised a glass of sekt (sparkling wine) to the brand-new city residence in the heart of the old town. The invited guests included mayor Dr. Heinz Schaden, member of parliament Mag. Romana Rothschopf, Leo Bauernberger from Salzburg Land Tourismus, Inga Horny from Altstadt Marketing and Cord Glantz from Geplan Design. ?The Hapimag city residence is a very positive development for Salzburg. The guests will really appreciate the location in the middle of the old town,? said mayor Dr. Heinz Schaden.
The Hapimag members have been able to visit the city residence already since 26 December 2012. ?We had a good start, and can already report over 2100 overnight stays,? said Resort Manager Christian Sampl. The twelfth hapimag city residence is centrally located directly on Brodgasse ? the famous festival theatres and the cathedral are just a stone?s throw away. The style of the city residence is inspired by Mozart and Salzburg as a stage and theatre city. The 28 apartments have cream and grey tones and are bright, classy, elegant and chic ? a baroque ambience in modern materials.
