Wings Over The Hills Nature Festival - Texas Bee Watchers

Spring is getting ready to swing open the gate here in Central Texas and it's time to get out and do some nature in Texas. The bees will be out soon in abundance. If you are looking for a few friends to go do some nature walks with, or learn about some natural history topic you may not be familiar with, I thought I'd let you know about the Wings Over the Hills Nature Festival in Fredericksbug.

The last weekend of April, 2013 marks the third annual Wings Over the Hills Nature Festival
held in the beautiful Texas Hill Country at Fredericksburg.


?A Celebration of Natural Flight," the festival is an opportunity for the whole family to experience?the abundance of regional winged wildlife including birds, bees, bats, butterflies, and dragonflies.

Our program features many educational presentations by noted nature specialists,
an activity area just for kids,?guided field trips on the park?s nature trail, and tours of the area.

Visitors can also enjoy the festival trade show featuring the best products?geared to birding,?nature, and outdoor activities.?
